PowerPoint

MS PowerPoint is a good software to make slide presentations, but they can also be used to make Pictures, like making screenshots for a developed app, editing pictures and more.

Method 1 (easiest)

NOTE: this is meant for Windows 10, may not work on below Windows 10 or any other OS (ex. Mac, Linux, etc.) and this works on version “Microsoft Office 2019”, so it may not work on older Office versions (ex. 2016, etc.)

  1. Open the PowerPoint file (should be a .pptx)
  2. Go to the slide/page that you want to convert to .png
  3. Click on that slide (click it from the slide panel/list on the left)
  4. When you clicked on it, press “Ctrl + C”, or right click on it then click “Copy”
  5. Go to a browser (any browser except Windows Explorer, and should be latest)
  6. Go to https://onlinepngtools.com/resize-png, Press “Ctrl + V” to paste the slide/image (right click and paste may not work)
  7. You should see two slides/images, under the second slide/image, click on “Save as…”, then select “Download”
  8. And there, you now have the slide as a PNG file, you can move it or copy it to any folder

Method 2

NOTE: this is meant for Windows 10, may not work on below Windows 10 or any other OS (ex. Mac, Linux, etc.) and this works on version “Microsoft Office 2019”, so it may not work on older Office versions (ex. 2016, etc.)

  1. Open the PowerPoint file (should be a .pptx)
  2. Go to the slide/page that you want to convert to .png
  3. Go to the “File” section
  4. Select the “Save As” section
  5. Click on “Browse”
  6. Select the folder wherever you want to save it
  7. On the “Save as type:”, select “PNG Portable Network Graphics Format (*.png)”
  8. Then click “save”.

NOTE: you also may want to save it as “PowerPoint Presentation (*.pptx)” because if you save it as PNG and closed PowerPoint without saving, then it could be lost

I hope you find this helpful, I found these methods by exploring MS PowerPoint’s features

Thank you
